The Nationals Member for Burrinjuck, Katrina Hodgkinson, has reiterated the NSW Government’s Policy of no forced amalgamations of councils and has condemned the false scare campaign being waged by the NSW Labor opposition.
“I recently spoke to Local Government Minister, Don Page, about the falsehoods being peddled by the NSW Labor Party and he personally reaffirmed to me his commitment to our no forced amalgamations policy,” Katrina said.

The Nationals Member for Burrinjuck, Katrina Hodgkinson, said today that the proposal to establish a HealthOne facility in Yass is gaining momentum following the success of the Southern NSW Local Health District’s (SNSWLHD) Expression of Interest and the successful recruitment of a HealthOne Yass Development Manager.
“The 2012 Clinical Services Plan for the Yass Health Service identified the need for a HealthOne facility in Yass to better integrate the co-ordination of patient care between GPs and other care health providers,” Katrina said.

Katrina announces start of improvements on Olympic Highway's Cootamundra bypass |

The Nationals Member for Burrinjuck, Katrina Hodgkinson, today announced that work to resurface the intersection of Temora and Hovell Streets on the Cootamundra bypass will begin on Monday 15 April.
“The NSW Government is investing $800,000 in Cootamundra to improve the road infrastructure along this section of the heavy vehicle bypass,” Katrina said.

The Nationals Member for Burrinjuck, Katrina Hodgkinson, announced today that the NSW Government will provide financial assistance of up to $1.75 million to replace the Tarengo Bridge on Main Road 380, the Boorowa to Harden Road.
“This is great news for the residents of Boorowa and Harden as this road is the main link between these two regional centres,” Katrina said.
